The Four Agreements

I discovered this book in the book store about 6 years ago, while I was living in Vancouver.

I love reading self-love, mind-nourishing and soul-juicy books, so I  immediately fell in love with how simple, yet effective the content is. Each time I read it, (I have read it four times in my life now) it is the perfect reminder on how you can be your best self, find compassion within yourself and others, not take things personally, and find a sense of mindfulness in everyday life.

I strive to honor daily the four agreements mentioned in this book in my life, shaping the relationship with myself and how I interact with others. I can’t wait for you to read this, enjoy.

Journal Prompts

  1. What challenges did you overcome this year? What did you learn from them?
  2. A surprise you had to deal with that you didn’t expect? (by reflecting on the negative experiences, you will see how you can overcome unexpected challenges for the future. This will help you build confidence for the future.)
  3. Something you bought this year that was worth the investment and why.
  4. What made me happiest this year? (The more we write and remember the happiest moments, the more those moments and feelings will be ingrained in our minds).
  5. A person who impacted 2022 for you and why. 
  6. What 2-3 habits would you like to invite into your lifestyle this year? Why?

    For these 2-3 habits, list *specific ways in which you can implement them into your routine.
    Ex: less screen time/no social media before bed. 60 minutes before bed, no phones OR I can watch tv but no TIKTOK or instagram or emails etc.
  7. Write on a piece of paper one word you are inviting into your life. Place it somewhere you can see it everyday. This is your anchor.
