8 Rules of Love: How to Find It, Keep It, and Let It Go
By Jay Shetty

I love love. Most importantly, I love self-love. I deeply believe that when we love and understand ourselves; needs, wants and wishes, we can be our best for our partners and those around us. Our self-love, understanding and self-acceptance will nurture, nourish and enhance our connections and relationships with others. Enjoy this read :)

An Activity This Month

Solitude Activity.

Solitude is *NOT loneliness, it is about the conscious choice to spend time alone, reflecting, enjoying your own company and being present with oneself.

Create your own adventure for a weekend retreat of solitude.

Recharge your energy, mind and body by curating a weekend plan just for yourself.

Of course, get together with friends! But this choice is a seamless and effortless choice.

The foundation of this weekend is focused on prioritizing what will refresh and energize YOU.

I am definitely a person who needs to recharge on their own to  thrive in social settings/ around others- but I NEED/ CREATE that solitude to be my best self.

I did this activity last weekend!

*List activities (big or small) that bring you joy on weekends.(museum, workout class, shopping, coffee shop with a book, writing, journalling, walk with a friend, buy a book, watch a rom-com, order your favorite meal, dinner with a friend).

*Curate a list of what you have to get done around the house (clean, laundry, cook)

Now, create a fun/ productive weekend itinerary, picking and choosing from the lists you’ve created making the perfect weekend for YOU.

I found your instagram profile about four years ago. I was instantly intrigued as I loved how real, unscripted and authentic you spoke to your following in your videos, it felt like I was right there with you in your big bright living room filled with plants. I had tried other platforms but they were all so scripted, and filmed in a perfectly lit studio with a perfect matched outfit. You were different, I loved how you wore loose band t-shirts, and filmed videos right as you rolled out of bed or before you went on your runs. It just felt relatable. Before you came out with the BBM platform, I would do the videos you posted on instagram. When the world shut down a few years ago I made a commitment to myself that I would do booty & abs every day for 30 days, so I scrolled through your feed and found your "DEEP BURN - 10 minute core" and "10-20 min of A.S.S"  videos on your feed and did those two videos every single day for thirty days. By the end of the thirty days I not only had the most lifted bum I'd ever had but I could also rehearse exactly what you'd say in every video by listening to it every single day hah.. All that to say, after that I was hooked and have been doing your videos weekly to keep my bum and core feeling chiseled. I've found your workouts to be the perfect compliment to the high intensity strength training I do at my gym - as a personal trainer myself I always tell my clients about you workouts when they're craving something with low intensity but still a good burn. thank you thank you thank you xx

We want to hear your story! Your motivation, authenticity and experience is worth sharing and I can’t wait to hear how you got started, where you are now, and what you are working towards, your experience with BootyByMich and how it has impacted your life. How long have you been a member for? One week, or over a year?  What’s your BBM routine like? Share the vibe of your environment you create for yourself, any rituals you have before movements?!

You have the ability to share your ups and downs with us, and motivate us all. Send me a message to be spotlighted in the future. Pictures of progress can be sent too (I would love to see your progress, but no pressure at all!)
