All this to say…books, cozy Netflix nights and movement have been my chill and relaxation time from the current life transitioning stage of moving!
We are staying in Manhattan but moving to a new neighbourhood, which I'm honestly really excited for. I love our current place, but after a few years here…it's time to venture off to a new adventure! I LOVE living in the West Village (we’ve been here since we first moved to NYC). I truly believe there is magic throughout these streets; it is so quiet in the morning before the tourists and influencers awake to take pictures on all the brownstone stoops. My most favourite memories will be waking up early on the weekends, getting a coffee and walking through empty Bleecker St, Charles, Perry etc, (yes, Carrie Bradshaw was our neighbour). Mornings when all I heard were birds chirping as the neighbourhood began to rise to the sun coming through the tree hugging streets, and me wondering how magical and alive it all feels. Looking at my favorite homes with the coolest door knockers, and when the vines covering the homes as they climb all the way to the top of the roof kinda look like veins- there is magic here.

This book is next on my list for August. It’s suspenseful, mysterious and I just love reading about the intertwined drama of residents of the Upper East Side buildings of New York. This was recommended to me by a client /friend, I’m very excited to read it!

My back is FEELING IT after packing for the move, and I am freaking determined to open up my chest and pull those shoulders back where they were before all this moving began! I am committing to the 7 days POSTURE/UPPER BODY posture program! If you’re travelling and need a posture/ arms reset this is for you!
WRITING PROMPTS
1. I 100% get nostalgic when moving. Do you?
2. Is it easy for you to adjust to new homes and beginnings?
3. I think it might be getting easier for me, but still- it is the end of a chapter that is (to me) always kind of interesting to process.
4.I also like to reflect on how much I’ve grown while living in a certain place.
5.How much have you grown since first moving into your home? (even if you aren’t moving its still nice to think about)
6. I also write all the positive exciting new adventures I’m looking to have in the new neighbourhood, already saving 15 coffee shops and sushi restaurants to try!
Too Much
I binged this over the weekend! I loved it because I found it to be fresh, with the humour and characters that are quite quirky (you either love it or don’t) but if you like it, it’s a binge worthy show from the creator and writer of “GIRLS”
The Hunting Wives
Suspenseful drama that has many people talking recently! It's based on a book which I actually didn’t know and I feel like I would have loved to read the book before watching the show. The relationships are intriguing which hooks you quite quickly! Plus there is a murder involved…
Drum roll please…(because I am VERY picky these truly are a great shops with consistently good coffee)
