LIFE UPDATES

Apologies for being MIA- I needed hibernation being deep in a winter baby bubble which was a special place to be…but life updates are back :)

I’ve been trying not to be hard on myself for taking time offline and pausing clients until I feel energetically, mentally and physically ready. It's also challenging because such small and simple tasks feel like mountains some days… we don’t have a nanny or night nurse. It's just me during the days with Laken and waking up to feed throughout the nights, the days go by so fast.

I deeply appreciate your patience as I navigate this new beginning back into work and what that will look like. 

With spring just around the corner, I’ve been feeling like I want and need to reconnect to myself on a deeper level. The level of slowness with deep breaths, taking time to write, listen to music and flow on my yoga mat. So much has changed in my life the last three months, the most incredible time being spent raising Laken, breastfeeding, late nights to early mornings and giving so much energy to our days together has fuelled me in a way I’ve never experienced. He is my main focus and I can still feel my nervous system and brain adjusting to our life now.

Recently, I’ve very slowly felt myself coming out of the bubble…I feel my body asking me to connect with it through stretch and breath and  my mind craves new music for my soul. These are the things that bring me back to me, when even life is at its busiest. 

So as a new season is being born, 

what do you need to reconnect to yourself on that deeper level, that level where all that exists is you with you?

I've read this book over five years ago when living in Vancouver, and now re-reading it daily with Laken. Each day it has a new meditative blurb that sets my day up nicely by just reminding me to pause and appreciate magic that is happening at all times.

Favorite go-to BBM workouts right now

Slowly starting to make my way back to for videos on BBM!!I've never stopped doing A.S.S Blasts or posture videos - OMG they have saved me during pregnancy.I have been walking a ton, and while Laken naps putting on a quick video to do - I legit only have about 10-20 minutes.
I want to shut my mind, follow along while feeling productive, calm and effective in my workouts. These are two and whatI have tried last week! 

Ps- Butters are life saving right now as my body is SO TIGHT from everyday life, postpartum body, lack of sleep etc…
