I have to begin reading this but I’ve heard so much about it so I just had to get it...This would be my first memoir book, but I love Lena Dunham as a writer! I have high hopes!

Life Update

Here is a life reminder for myself that I am extending to you….
If you are trying your best, that is good enough. 
Your best is enough. If it is not good enough for someone else, that is on them.
You are enough. 
Everyday that you wake up and choose to show up for yourself on your mat and move- whatever your best is- it is enough as long as you know you are trying. 
I am proud of you. 
I feel how much you try even when workouts are quick, you’re tired, busy, lazy; whatever it may be.
This is also true for life whether it be work, relationships etc…
you do not have to prove yourself to anyone.
Because you are trying your best, and that is enough. 

This has also rang true for me when it comes to being a new mom. I have experienced that the level of expectations of others is very challenging for me when the expectations are going against the pace and comfort I deeply need as I set my tone/voice as a mother within this world. I know I am doing my best at my own pace, and if it's not living up to anyone's expectations…. That’s not on me to take on and this I am learning as I take on this new role in life. 

Whether it is through movement or navigating life…never forget if you voice you are doing your best, that is enough.

Favorite go-to BBM workouts right now

Slowly starting to make my way back to for videos on BBM!!I've never stopped doing A.S.S Blasts or posture videos - OMG they have saved me during pregnancy.I have been walking a ton, and while Laken naps putting on a quick video to do - I legit only have about 10-20 minutes.
I want to shut my mind, follow along while feeling productive, calm and effective in my workouts. These are two and whatI have tried last week! 

Ps- Butters are life saving right now as my body is SO TIGHT from everyday life, postpartum body, lack of sleep etc…

Butter — For the Body

Reset your mind in 15 MINUTES.

One morning after putting Laken to sleep, I wrapped my arms around my body, hugged myself tight and asked myself/my body, what do I need? My body yelled CONNECTION… as I keep mentioning, it's not as easy as it used to be for me to slow down, both mentally, physically, and definitely energetically. I opened my laptop and committed one whole week to one Butter video 15-30 min max.

My soul thanked me, my body felt foreign in moves that used to come so naturally to it, I felt frustrated, it felt uncomfortable but at the same time needed. Within 10 minutes my body loosened, my breath softened and my mind became not only a bit more grounded but  positive. 

The words in each flow, the movements themselves unwrapped and unravelled me.
