It was quite nice to read after my fluffy trashy books. This book has also recently become a movie, so I thought I'd give it a read before a watch! (I feel like books tend to be better than the films…) I am really enjoying this book, its quick pace and definitely suspenseful weekend read!

Where to begin…

Everything is changing but it's honestly kinda nice…

I just had my last weekend alone, and I do love my solo Mich weekends. We were invited to a wedding that would be a 4 hour drive away, and at the last minute I chose not to attend because that drive would have wrecked my body. It killed me to say no.. but I just knew it would have wrecked my body.

So I planned a weekend of rest, early dinners, Netflix, and some last minute shopping…it was really nice. It kind of reminded me of me moving away from Vancouver planning my last weekend there (ugh my favourite seawall runs, all my coffee shops etc…). 

I LOVE the journal prompts below. I thought of them to help me grounded/figure out what I needed for me that weekend. Maybe you have some big life changes coming up, or you’ll soon be leaving a place you love, or you just need a weekend to yourself- these are perfect for you!
